The map tracks the top 20 AI tokens by market cap, pulled live from CoinMarketCap's AI & Big Data and AI Agents categories. The list auto-rotates — as tokens grow or fade the board re-ranks itself, so you are always looking at the 20 that matter now, not a hand-picked list that quietly goes stale.

AI & Big Data vs AI Agents

AI & Big Data — the established layer: compute, data, infrastructure and protocol tokens that have been "the AI trade" in crypto for years (the larger, older names).

AI Agents — the newer, faster, more speculative wave: tokens tied to autonomous on-chain agents and agent frameworks. Higher beta, shorter track record — size accordingly.

Reading the bubbles

Size = the token's 24-hour move (absolute); colour = direction.

Crypto trades 24/7, so the board keeps refreshing nights and weekends. Quotes are delayed and for context, not execution.

"Hot" means attention, not direction here too — and crypto moves are larger and rounder than equities. A token topping the board is volatile, not "good."
